Pianist Arthur Bocaneanu enjoys a varied career as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher across the Midlands.
As a soloist, he has performed with several orchestras in the UK and in his native Romania. A dedicated chamber musician, Arthur is a founding member of the
Arcus Piano Trio and has collaborated with artists and ensembles including the Gildas Quartet, violist Robin Ireland, and cellist Andrei Ioniță.
After completing a Master’s degree at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Arthur went on to earn an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma.
In 2019, he was awarded the Joseph Weingarten Scholarship, which enabled a year of study at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.
He currently holds teaching positions at Rugby School and Warwick School.
